About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join our dynamic Community locality team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist Systemic Psychotherapy services to children, young people, and their families, working within a framework of personal objectives and service agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide highly specialist Systemic Psychotherapy services to a defined population, working autonomously and in accordance with professional ethics guidelines and Trust policies.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, their families, carers, and other professional colleagues, communicating complex information effectively and sensitively.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of the team's operational policies and services, ensuring high-quality care and support for our patients.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and provide consultation to professional and non-professional groups, promoting effective partnerships and service delivery.
  • Manage risk and deal sensitively with stress, utilizing supervision effectively and adhering to clinical governance principles.
