Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Manager

Join Uncommon as an Aircraft Maintenance Manager and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and technical skills. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of all engineering and maintenance operations within Uncommon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and direct the daily activities of the team and contractors, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and H&S standards.
  • Establish scope and manage facilities projects with financial and operational framework, ensuring cost-effectiveness and technical efficiency.
  • Implement and manage a preventative maintenance program, ensuring the effective operation of all mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
  • Monitor all Repairs and Maintenance expenses across Uncommon buildings, keeping accurate records and monitoring closely all expenditures.
  • Support key workstreams through attendance of ESG related meetings, follow-up on check-ins and progress of key initiatives.
  • Have an individual responsibility for ensuring fairness and adherence to our DE&I policy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC Engineering.
  • Diploma in Engineering management.
  • H&S Certificates of NEBOSH or IOSH.
  • Previous Cluster or Regional Management experience.
  • Root Cause Failure analysis.
