About the Role

As a Senior Consultant or Managing Consultant at Capgemini Invent, you will play a key role in helping our clients in the energy industry navigate the complexities of the energy transition. With a strong background in energy and a proven track record of delivering consulting solutions, you will be responsible for leading small to medium-sized projects or playing a major role in the delivery of major programs that help clients solve complex issues and deliver tangible industry outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme and stakeholder management: Shaping and leading consulting projects, working with client teams and stakeholders to deliver change initiatives and programs.
  • Analysis, synthesis and recommendations: Developing and leading market analyses, assessing existing and proposed policies or regulatory frameworks to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency gains, and alignment with industry strategic objectives.
  • Regulatory submissions: Developing and leading regulatory submissions, such as those for regulatory price controls, including investment justifications, cost-benefit analyses, or stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Thought leadership: Contributing to Capgemini Invent's proprietary global and local thought leadership and research.
  • People development: Managing and contributing to the skills and capability development of junior members of the team as well as your peers in the area of your expertise.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organization, and to enlist support and commitment from others in delivering consulting solutions.
  • Significant experience of leading workstreams or projects in the energy industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including a track record of managing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a major consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a consulting background.
