Job Description

At easyJet, we're looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Science and Analytics Centre of Excellence. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in driving analytics best practice across the business, transforming easyJet into a world-leading data-driven airline.

About the Role

We're seeking a talented individual with strong analytical and quantitative skills to lead and deliver data analytics projects with minimal support from senior team members. You'll provide decision recommendations that fulfill business requirements and enhance existing and new business processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver end-to-end data analytics projects, ensuring the most appropriate solutions are identified and delivered.
  • Participate in the majority of the data analytics project lifecycle, utilizing an intermediate knowledge level of the data analytics toolbox and a good understanding of the nuances of the easyJet business.
  • Support the management of the Federated Data Analyst community as a growing and thriving community of practice.
  • Provide recommendations on tools, capabilities, and best practices to optimize the performance of both the Data Analytics Centre of Excellence and the Federated Data Analyst community across the business.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrated experience using data to drive business decisions in a commercial setting.
  • Experience of leading and landing successful data analytics projects in a commercial setting.
  • Demonstrable commercial experience in data and analytics.
  • Experience with SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) to extract, manipulate, and summarize data from large databases.
  • Experience with business intelligence/data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Thoughtspot, PowerBI).
  • Delivery mindset, particularly when executing under challenging circumstances.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including storytelling with data.
