Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to support our Chief Strategy and Investor Relations Officer at Direct Line Group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the execution of our Group strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate business initiatives to ensure alignment with Group strategy and objectives.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory guidance, and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
- Ensure Investor Relations activity is completed to a high standard, including supporting the preparation of content for external results announcements and investor relations roadshow planning and coordination.
- Work closely with finance to prepare and manage budgets, forecast financial performance, identify cost efficiencies, and ensure financial goals are met.
- Lead key projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Office Support and Communication
- Prepare and coordinate content for reports, briefings, and position papers, Board Papers, Strategy and Prioritisation events, etc.
- Manage the Chief Strategy and Investor Relations Officer's cost centres, payroll, and procurement expenses and monitor alignment with Motor budget.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture across investor relations.
Requirements
- Strong financial analysis experience with the ability to understand key financial drivers of a business.
- Experience working with the executive/C-Suite level in a fast-paced and complex business environment.
- Analytical skills to gather and summarise data, and help find solutions to project challenges.
