Role Overview

The position of a Care Assistant is incredibly fulfilling, and during each shift, you will significantly enhance the life of a young individual living at home with his supportive family. He is easygoing and enjoys engaging conversations with his caregivers - he is a natural communicator and loves to chat. He is pursuing a career in gaming and aims to gain independence while transitioning to his own home with assistance.

He enjoys going to the cinema, walking dogs, and watching his favorite shows (including Marvel and DC). He is eager to explore the community, so you will need to be a confident driver capable of operating the Motability vehicle provided. He wishes to build his confidence in accessing the community independently.

Candidate Profile

You MUST possess a valid full driving license or equivalent, as you may be required to drive the Motability vehicle with the client. You should have an understanding of anxiety and person-centered care to support a physically disabled individual in leading an independent and fulfilling life. You will develop a meaningful relationship with him and conclude each shift with the satisfaction of knowing you have made a genuine difference.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience in caregiving, whether in a professional capacity or through personal experience, is advantageous, although comprehensive training will be provided.
