About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate RF Engineer to join our team at the Chilbolton Observatory. As a Graduate RF Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting and managing operations for atmospheric science radars and space situational awareness tracking systems, as well as providing technical support for other projects operating at the Observatory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and manage operations for atmospheric science radars and space situational awareness tracking systems
  • Support technical development of radars
  • Provide technical support for other projects operating at the Observatory
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant field of study, have the right to live and work in the UK, have own transport to reach Chilbolton Observatory, and possess good general knowledge of basic electronics, including both analogue and digital design. Knowledge of the C programming language and good communication skills are also essential.
