Job Title: Insurance Client Service Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Client Service Specialist to join our team at Howden Insurance Brokers Ltd. As a key member of our client service team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional level of service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional client service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the account executive to develop and implement client retention strategies, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Process renewals, mid-term changes, and new business, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Produce professional summaries and reports, using Howden templates, to communicate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure premiums are collected prior to the commencement of cover, in line with Howden procedures.
  • Prioritize and handle all work promptly and accurately, meeting deadlines and service standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of general insurance and the CII's Code of Ethics and GDPR.
  • Excellent technical insurance skills, with the ability to process work quickly and efficiently.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent client service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
