Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our Institutional Credit Management team at Citigroup Inc. as a Vice President. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing counterparty credit risk and ensuring the integrity of our financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and manage credit risk across various asset classes, including derivatives, financing, and direct lending products.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential losses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk management and compliance.
- Perform daily and weekly risk analysis and reporting to senior management.
- Communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably in a financial institution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior management.
- Knowledge of financial markets, products, and risk management techniques.
- Relevant certifications, such as FRM or CFA.
- Experience with risk management software and systems.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R.
