Retail Store Manager Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our Retail Sales team in Colchester. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving store performance and supporting the Store Manager in their absence.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Store Manager in driving store performance and leading the team in their absence
- Coach and develop colleagues to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Ensure expert knowledge of ScS products and services throughout the store team
- Recruit, onboard, manage, and develop the store team to achieve business objectives
- Drive performance, deliver targets, and maximize sales opportunities in line with the store business plan
- Support colleagues with customer orders and finance applications
- Deliver exceptional customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and referrals
- Identify opportunities to improve store operations and implement changes to optimize performance
- Maintain store presentation to a high standard to ensure the store is set up for success
- Enthusiasm and passion for driving business growth and personal success
- Customer focus with a passion for delivering first-class customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to drive performance and manage difficult conversations when needed

- Basic salary of £26,650 plus an OTE of £40K per year
