Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth and explore innovative strategies to enhance the overall lettings business
  • Attend and instruct lettings valuations, ensuring seamless execution
  • Oversee a comprehensive portfolio of properties, guaranteeing compliance and efficient management
  • Manage the onboarding of new stock, ensuring a smooth transition
  • Anticipate business needs and adapt accordingly, fostering a proactive approach
  • Develop and train your team, empowering them to excel in their roles
  • Support and guide your team to achieve personal and branch goals, promoting a culture of excellence
  • Review, analyze, and improve processes and procedures to optimize team and branch performance
  • Conduct regular 1:1s with your team, recognizing individual and team achievements
  • Nurture long-lasting relationships with landlords and key stakeholders, ensuring mutual trust and respect
  • Manage escalations with tenants and landlords, resolving issues efficiently
  • Provide regular reporting on profit and loss, as well as forecasting, to inform strategic decisions
  • Engage in strategic conversations with the wider management team, driving business growth and development
  • Stay informed about legislation and upcoming changes, ensuring your team is trained and adapted accordingly
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Lettings Manager, with a proven track record of driving business growth and managing risk
  • ARLA qualification or equivalent, with a strong understanding of lettings legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and build strong relationships
  • Proven man management experience, with the ability to motivate and lead by example
  • Strong knowledge of the lettings process and legislation, with the ability to adapt to changing regulations
