We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Adecco. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and Inspection: Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Storage and Organisation: Safely and efficiently store goods in designated warehouse locations, maintaining a well-organised and tidy warehouse space, and ensuring proper labelling and documentation of stored items.
  • Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack items according to customer orders or shipping requirements, preparing packages for shipment, and ensuring proper packaging and labelling.
  • Operational Support: Assist in loading and unloading of trucks, and participate in quality control processes to ensure that products meet specified standards.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment, and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Requirements:
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately inspect and record incoming shipments and stored goods.
  • Physical Stamina and Agility: Ability to lift, move, and handle goods and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve warehouse operations goals.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, and report any issues or concerns promptly.

This is a long-term temporary to permanent role, with a starting salary of £11.00-£11.44, reviewed at the 3-month time frame. Hours are 8:30am until 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
