We manage a comprehensive supply chain, overseeing everything from agricultural operations to production facilities, ensuring that we deliver quality products directly to our customers. Our extensive network includes multiple processing sites across the UK and a robust agricultural framework consisting of numerous farms.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operations Section Leader to join our dynamic Site Operations team. This is a pivotal time for our established site as we expand our capabilities by introducing new production lines and diversifying our product offerings, leading to exciting opportunities across various shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Operations Section Leader, you will report directly to the Production Manager, taking charge of the operational performance within your assigned section. Your primary focus will be to effectively oversee all activities, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs), targets, and organizational goals are consistently achieved.

You will uphold all regulatory and company standards, prioritizing the safety of personnel, equipment, and products.

Working Schedule:
Tuesday - Friday 09:00 – 18:00

Your main duties will include:

Managing and developing Team Leaders and team members within your section. Leading your section in compliance with food safety, health & safety, and quality assurance standards. Acting as the primary contact for customer visits and audits, ensuring thorough planning and execution. Collaborating with the Production Manager to implement continuous improvement strategies across various operational areas. Effectively utilizing resources within your section and addressing any shortfalls in supply chain or asset reliability. Establishing processes to ensure accurate data collection for senior management analysis. Ensuring consistent application of company policies and procedures. Developing and revising standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your designated areas. Providing support to the Production Manager as needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Proven experience as a Section Manager or Team Leader in a similar production or manufacturing setting. Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage change effectively. Strong problem-solving skills to navigate challenging situations. Excellent people management abilities in a diverse and demanding environment, with a talent for motivating teams. Outstanding communication skills with stakeholders at all levels. Strong time management and analytical capabilities. Experience in coaching, developing, and mentoring team members to maximize their potential.
