About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Operative to join our team at Avara Foods, a leading food business in the UK. As a Technical Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our By Products section.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance to agreed tasks and schedule.
- Ensure the area is prepared ready for shift start.
- Perform machinery checks in a timely manner.
- Carry out relevant checks to the correct standards.
- Complete necessary paperwork.
- Evaluate and escalate issues to the engineering section.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Support the Section Manager in promoting safe working behaviors and adhering to company rules and regulations.
