About the Role

Waterman Aspen is seeking a highly skilled Senior Highway Engineer to join our West Yorkshire team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing highway engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage highway engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement highway design principles, standards, and practices.
  • Utilize design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create accurate and efficient designs.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of our team's technical expertise and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing highway engineering projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of highway design principles, standards, and practices.
  • Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Experience with highway design, including alignment, grading, drainage, and pavement design.
  • Current UK experience within a public, private, or third sector UK-based client.
  • A full UK driving license is essential.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • HND, HNC, BEng, MEng, or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • IEng or CEng.
