Position: Early Years Practitioner

Location: Barking and Dagenham, London

Role Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Full days on Monday and Tuesday; Half days on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

Overview:

Empowering Learning is on the lookout for a nurturing and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to become part of a supportive primary school community in Barking and Dagenham.

This part-time position features a distinctive schedule, with full days allocated for Monday and Tuesday, and half days for the latter part of the week.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional care and guidance to nursery-aged children.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of engaging and educational activities.
  • Observe and document children's growth and development.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to foster a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere.
  • Support children in their personal, social, and emotional growth.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the children at all times.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education or Childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Prior experience as an Early Years Practitioner or in a similar role.
  • A sincere passion for working with young children and aiding their development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively within a team.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
