Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 Specialist Psychological Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing specialist psychological interventions to individuals with complex forensic mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities

As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and formulating individualized treatment plans for service users with complex emotional and behavioral difficulties
  • Delivering individual and group psychological interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused interventions
  • Collaborating with ward staff and other professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to service users
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing behavioral management plans to ensure the safety and well-being of service users and staff
  • Providing training and supervision to ward staff on psychological interventions and risk management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
