Process Improvement Specialist

As our new Process Improvements Manager, you'll lead a team focused on driving continuous improvement within the Jet2holidays Product department. You'll play a key role in championing change, ensuring that our systems and processes are always evolving to meet the needs of our colleagues and customers.
Please note that this role will be offered as a 15-month Fixed-Term contract to cover maternity.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead product-led projects: You'll manage a range of projects, working from the initial planning stages to go live, and monitoring their success. You'll collaborate closely with IT Development, Jet2Digital, and other key stakeholders across the business.
- Champion IT development: You'll identify development opportunities, assess the value and benefits, and work with Jet2Digital to progress these initiatives from concept to completion.
- Drive continuous improvement: You'll constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve Product department processes and systems. You'll also train and guide the team to implement these improvements effectively.
- Maintain strong cross-functional relationships: You'll work with key business areas to ensure development requirements are aligned, fostering strong relationships between the Product department and other teams, including Jet2Digital.
- Support outsourced resources: You'll help manage the workload of outsourced administration teams and work closely with Data Control to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Develop your team: You'll coach and guide your team members, helping them grow and achieve their objectives, all while driving continuous development across the department.
- Deputise for the General Manager: You'll step in as needed, ensuring smooth operations when the General Manager is unavailable.
- Experience in product development, process improvement, or efficiency-focused roles.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically.
- Proven experience in leading and supporting cross-functional projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style for various audiences.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and adapt to changing business priorities.
- Experience managing people and leading teams to success.
- Confidence in working independently and taking initiative.
- Experience in the travel, tour operator, or airline industries.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other relevant systems.
- Experience managing offshore resources.
