Head Housekeeper - York City Premier Inn

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our Housekeeping team at Premier Inn in York City. As a key member of our hotel team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of Housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional cleaning and maintenance services to our guests.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all hotel areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience in a Housekeeping leadership role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
