About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cabin Appearance Manager to join our team at ABM UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance on our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead a team of cleaners and supervisors to ensure delivery of cleaning standards in line with service level agreements.
    • Coach and mentor team members to enable them to meet and exceed standards.
    • Assist aircrafts that have not met SLAs to enhance standards avoiding any failures that may be captured on external audits.
  • Quality and Compliance
    • Conduct final cleaning sweeps on all aircrafts, establishing and rectifying any shortfall in standards.
    • Ensure procedures, policies and regulations are correctly followed and complied with.
    • Effectively work with the SDAs in monitoring and maintaining quality audits inspections.
  • Communication and Liaison
    • Establish and maintain good relationships and lines of communication with client airlines, other airlines, and regulatory bodies.
    • Effectively manage, coach and mentor team leaders to meet service level agreements.
  • People Management
    • Ensure employees, under your control, sign on and off, appropriately, and correctly in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures.
    • Maintain staff discipline and conformance with Company and regulatory requirements, utilizing the Company disciplinary process where necessary.
Requirements
  • Essential Skills and Experience
    • Previous supervisory / management experience in a similar role.
    • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
    • Flexibility and ability to multitask and work under pressure.
    • Good problem-solving skills and ability to identify and propose solutions to improve processes.
  • Desirable Skills and Experience
    • UK Driving License.
    • Background / understanding of aviation and industrial cleaning.
    • Computer literate.
