About the Role
Cancer Research UK is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our trading team as a Retail Stock Processor. As an ambassador for our organization, you will be responsible for processing and preparing pre-loved items for sale, ensuring they are accurately priced, tagged, and presented in a way that appeals to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage new and donated stock, including rotation, replenishment, pricing, steaming, and tagging.
- Assist the store team in achieving sales and fundraising targets by providing excellent customer service and supporting the sales process.
- Support the training of colleagues and volunteers in stock processing and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, security, and health and safety protocols.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community members and supporters.
- Perform manual handling and physical activities as required by the role.
Requirements
- Experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Proactive mindset and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
