About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Stock Processor to join our trading team at Cancer Research UK. As an ambassador for our organization, you will be responsible for processing and preparing pre-loved items for sale, ensuring they are accurately priced, tagged, and presented to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage new and donated stock, including rotation, replenishment, pricing, steaming, and tagging.
  • Assist the store team in achieving sales and fundraising targets by providing excellent customer service and supporting the sales process.
  • Support the training of colleagues and volunteers in stock processing and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, security, and health and safety standards.
  • Develop strong relationships with community members and supporters, providing a positive and welcoming experience.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a busy customer-facing environment, preferably in retail or a similar sector.
  • Adaptability to changing situations and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team, with a positive approach to building relationships.
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis, with a willingness to adapt to the needs of the business.
