At Project People, we're committed to creating a safe and healthy work environment for our employees, contractors, and the communities we serve. As a key member of our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Team, the Health and Safety Manager will play a vital role in driving our safety vision forward.

Key Responsibilities:

The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for partnering with our Leadership and Operational teams to ensure compliance with our Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Standards and our Health and Safety Vision. This includes:

  • Developing and implementing effective health and safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborating with leadership teams to embed a culture of performance and build capability to lead and manage health and safety effectively
  • Providing coaching and guidance to employees on health and safety best practices and procedures
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in health and safety management, with experience in developing and implementing effective health and safety strategies. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
