Overview

The National Trust is celebrated for its exceptional food and hospitality services. We operate numerous cafes across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, and we are seeking a Culinary Operations Supervisor to enhance our team.

In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our three outlets while collaborating with the management team to drive business growth. Given our rural location, please consider your transportation options when contemplating this position.

Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Compensation: £23,400 per annum

Contract Duration: Fixed Term Contract until the end of December 2024.

Key Responsibilities

As a Culinary Operations Supervisor, you will provide daily support to your team, ensuring exceptional service for all patrons. This dynamic environment requires adaptability and a proactive approach.
Your primary focus will be front-of-house interactions, serving food and beverages directly to customers. A passion for customer service, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellence are essential for success in this role.
Attention to detail is crucial; you will ensure that displays and signage are accurate and visually appealing. Additionally, you may assist the kitchen team with food preparation as needed.
You will also play a vital role in onboarding and training new team members, fostering a culture of outstanding service and memorable experiences.
We provide comprehensive training, including food safety and allergen awareness, along with opportunities for further professional development.
