Overview of the Role:

The Corporate Account Support Manager is responsible for overseeing the commercial interactions between Biffa and its corporate clientele. This position encompasses financial performance, growth initiatives, contractual negotiations, adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), compliance, customer satisfaction, retention strategies, and innovative solutions.

Why This Role is Significant:

  • Act as the primary liaison between the organization and designated corporate clients.
  • Ensure the implementation of business account strategies, service success, compliance with contracts, client retention, and pricing negotiations.
  • Foster the retention of corporate clients through positive engagement and expansion of service offerings to meet budgeted revenue targets.
  • Manage the tendering and benchmarking processes, including preparation, editing, and delivery, while identifying new growth opportunities for profitable expansion.
  • Conduct customer reviews and present management insights utilizing Power BI.
  • Support depots and customer service teams in addressing issues that may arise, including health and safety concerns, container modifications, or the introduction of alternative services.
  • Maintain customer debt levels in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Engage proficiently at all organizational levels to facilitate negotiation, influence, and communication both internally and externally for long-term benefits.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues that may lead to invoice delays or credit production, assisting the Account Director or Manager with payment-related queries.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret numerical data.
  • Proven experience in establishing and nurturing customer relationships.
