About the Role

Prestige Nursing & Care is seeking a dedicated and passionate Community Care Assistant to join our care and support team in Edinburgh.

As a Community Care Assistant, you will work delivering person-centred, specialised care to our clients in their own homes on a one-to-one basis. This will enable you to maintain a clinical and supportive overview of your client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal care to supported individuals.
  • Work as part of a team or independently to supported individuals in their own homes.
  • Medication management
  • Social visits.
  • Meal support

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Caring, committed, resilient and reliable
  • Must live in Edinburgh and be able to commit to the rota and shifts
  • A driver's licence is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Walker roles may be available
  • Good professional and personal references
