This is an exceptional opportunity for a Firmware Manager with substantial Firmware and FPGA experience, along with relevant leadership background, to join our Firmware team. The position demands a solid foundational knowledge of FPGA design and a proven track record of leading a small group of engineers to manage and deliver intricate work packages from initial concept to final product.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of engineers in the design and verification of high-performance systems. Oversee the development of complex FPGA designs, ensuring adherence to configuration management practices. Collaborate effectively with various engineering disciplines to achieve project goals. Provide technical direction and leadership to ensure successful project delivery. Foster a culture of innovation and problem-solving within the team. Drive team development through goal setting, coaching, and career progression management.Required Qualifications:
A degree or equivalent qualification in electronics engineering. Proficiency with FPGA tools and technologies (e.g., Microchip, Xilinx, SoC, Modelsim, Matlab, Simulink). Extensive practical experience in FPGA design and verification, including VHDL. Proven ability to manage multiple complex work packages simultaneously. Experience in leading teams through the design, development, and delivery of DO254 compliant FPGAs.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a manager, team lead, or principal firmware engineer with over 5 years in FPGA/ASIC. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM and Kanban. Understanding of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) and SysML. Knowledge of communication protocols and motor control systems.What We Offer:
