We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. As a Family Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to families and young people in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with families and young people in their homes, schools, and community settings to provide support and guidance.
  • Develop and implement individual plans with families and young people based on effective assessments.
  • Provide one-to-one intervention and group-based interventions to support families and young people.
  • Communicate effectively with a range of people, including families, young people, and colleagues, in a variety of settings.
  • Chair meetings and follow up on agreed actions to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with children and young people, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Ability to work effectively with families who have complex needs or are at risk of becoming a child in care.
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary setting and delivering evidence-based interventions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to chair meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to anti-oppressive practice.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and vulnerability, risk management, and guidance in relation to Early Help.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
