About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safeguarding Nurse to join our team at Lakeside Healthcare Group. As a Safeguarding Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and adults within our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-disciplinary meetings to identify and assess the needs of vulnerable children and adults
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and social workers to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on safeguarding best practices to healthcare staff
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential harm
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with local authorities and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a background in child care or adult nursing
  • Experience in managing safeguarding cases, including attendance at professional meetings and child protection case conferences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
