About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Communications Specialist to join our Corporate Affairs team at Sainsbury's. As an integral member of our organisation, you will play a pivotal role in driving positive change and engagement among our Argos retail leaders through strategic communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute communication plans to ensure our Argos colleagues understand their role in achieving our strategic commitments.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Internal Communications Manager to deliver operational and people change communications to our Argos retail leaders.
  • Develop bespoke communications for Argos stores and create plans for operational change projects and people change initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and measure the effectiveness of communications to continuously improve our channels.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of creating and delivering communication plans in fast-paced and complex organisations.
  • Deep understanding of the retail industry and expertise to effectively communicate with complex audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle large amounts of information under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to build relationships, work collaboratively, and adapt to changing contexts.
