Job Title: Internal Communications Specialist

Merrifield Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Internal Communications Specialist to join their team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual to plan and deliver successful PR and Media campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing marketing campaigns for health professional and consumer audiences, collaborating with creative specialists, and identifying new exciting Press and Media opportunities for an organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate news, features, and other written content for key internal and external publications, digital, and wider communications channels.
  • Oversee all media communications, including writing and distributing timely and accurate media releases.
  • Work with the Director of HR and Director of Marketing and Communications to develop a staff communications strategy and framework to aid effective internal communications.
  • Support internal communication delivery when needed.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of working at a senior level in a Press and PR role.
  • Proven experience of managing PR, media, and social media campaigns.
  • Proven experience of developing and implementing successful Press, PR, and online campaigns and understanding how PR feeds into the marketing plan.
