REED Specialist Recruitment is currently looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Financial Records Specialist to become a part of our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be tasked with the responsibility of ensuring precise financial documentation, overseeing client accounts, and adhering to applicable regulations.

This position demands exceptional attention to detail, outstanding organizational capabilities, and the ability to function both independently and collaboratively within a team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain precise financial documentation for various clients.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings.
  • Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
  • Generate financial reports and statements for clients.
  • Liaise with clients to address queries and provide financial guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support the preparation of annual accounts and tax returns.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a financial records specialist, preferably in a practice environment. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite. Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualifications (e.g., AAT, ICB) are desirable, but not essential.
