REED Specialist Recruitment is currently in search of a detail-oriented and skilled Financial Records Specialist to enhance their team.

The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring precise financial documentation, overseeing client accounts, and adhering to applicable regulations.

This position demands exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to function both independently and collaboratively.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain precise financial documentation for various clients.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions efficiently.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and other mandatory filings.
  • Assist with payroll processing and related duties.
  • Generate financial reports and statements for clients.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve inquiries and provide financial guidance.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support the preparation of annual accounts and tax returns.


Qualifications:

Proven experience in bookkeeping, ideally within a practice setting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite. Strong grasp of bookkeeping and accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualifications (e.g., AAT, ICB) are advantageous but not mandatory.
