Job Title: General Estate Maintenance

We are seeking a reliable and professional Estate Maintenance individual to join our team at Leez Priory LTD.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a beautiful Grade 1 Listed building, maintaining the daily checks to ensure the good running of the building and equipment. You will be responsible for assisting in keeping public areas tidy and well-maintained, working with the venue management team to plan a good preventative maintenance plan, and helping housekeeping, bar, and banqueting staff to set up rooms or move furniture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining public areas and ensuring they are well-maintained
  • Work with the venue management team to plan and implement a preventative maintenance plan
  • Help housekeeping, bar, and banqueting staff with setup and furniture movement
  • Ensure the safety of guests by placing and removing signage indicating wet floors or paint
  • Perform physical tasks such as carrying and moving large items
  • Use good listening skills to gauge and anticipate guest needs and wedding requirements
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, painting, and decorating
  • Conduct daily checks on gas and kerosene levels, drains, bio unit, bins, and hot tub maintenance
