Job Summary

The Property, a leading international Hotel company based in Lancashire, is seeking a highly skilled Meeting & Events Sales Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of this busy office. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and providing exceptional customer service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct day-to-day conference & events activities, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to improve team members' performance.
  • Plan and conduct pre-event and post-event meetings with clients and catering staff to determine potential enhancements to the guest experience.
  • Complete forecasts, plans, and productivity reports as required.
  • Manage a team of 3 Event Agents.

Requirements

  • Experience of being a Meeting & Events Sales Manager.
  • High standards, a can-do attitude, be results driven and have excellent attention to detail.
  • A strong commercial outlook, determined to achieve results.
  • Excellent customer care and focus and ability to think outside the box.
