Roaming Vehicle Damage Assessor

We are seeking a skilled Roaming Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at FMG Repair Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and estimating damage to vehicles across multiple sites in the South Yorkshire/Nottingham area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate and inspect accident damage vehicles of all makes and marques
- Assess the full extent of the damage, costs of repair, and timeframes
- Identify the correct prescribed repair method and prepare, record, and maintain records of electronic and manual estimates
- Liaise effectively with insurance companies to obtain their authority to repair the vehicle at the estimated costs
- Liaise with customers' engineers and technicians to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a VDA / Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator
- Experience using Audatex
- NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA / IMI qualification preferred
- Solid bodyshop background
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
