We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to join our team at Contract Scotland Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess health, safety, and environmental risks, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential health, safety, and environmental hazards.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures and protocols.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of health, safety, and environmental incidents, and conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategies to improve health, safety, and environmental performance.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in a health, safety, and environmental role, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
- NEBOSH certification (General/Construction) and environmental/auditing competencies (desirable).
- IEMA or IOSH accreditation and CSCS certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate health, safety, and environmental risks.
