About the Role

Positive Employment is seeking a skilled Scheduling Manager to enhance our Project Management Office (PMO) on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a crucial role within the PMO, overseeing and ensuring the effectiveness of all scheduling processes essential for the successful delivery of projects and programs within the Infrastructure Directorate. The responsibilities include:

  • Developing Standards: Create and maintain the standards and processes that enable timely and precise schedule analysis and reporting at both the Program and Portfolio levels.
  • Master Schedule Management: Own and manage the integrated master schedule, including detailed schedule analysis.
  • Integrated Scheduling: Design, implement, and sustain an integrated master schedule for the PMO, which encompasses various programs and projects.
  • Monthly Assurance: Oversee the planning and scheduling monthly assurance for Combined Authority projects.
  • Methodology Leadership: Establish and lead the application of specific planning and scheduling methodologies, techniques, and tools.
  • Team Leadership: Guide the scheduling team to effectively validate and verify schedule management inputs in accordance with established scheduling procedures.
  • Reporting: Generate regular, clear, and compelling schedule analyses, reports, and commentary at the project, program, and portfolio levels for all stakeholders.
  • Timely Information Production: Ensure the prompt and accurate generation and distribution of schedule information to meet required reporting and governance timelines.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of planning and scheduling, along with project control methodologies.
