Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Services Operations Manager to join our team at Mitie. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of soft services professionals to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of soft services professionals to deliver cleaning services for scheduled events
  • Roster, manage budgets, and oversee supply chain management
  • Recruit and manage new staff members, and ensure contract performance
  • Manage staff cover costs and overtime, and verify payroll details
  • Develop business opportunities within the terminal, including self-delivery of soft services and consumables
  • Support business development teams with surveys, pricing, and client meetings
  • Assume operational responsibility for projects, and manage sub-contractors and supply chain
  • Manage the timely completion of reactive tasks, and ensure compliance with company procedures and policies
  • Build and manage a high-performing team, and undertake performance management of direct reports
  • Demonstrate strong financial acumen, and manage profit and loss statements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, with a focus on cleaning services
  • Ability to take ownership of service delivery, and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience managing soft services projects, and a willingness to take on a calm and methodical approach to decision-making
  • Highly resilient and flexible, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
