Opportunity for a Facilities Operations Manager
We are seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to oversee our operational activities effectively.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Strategically managing the employment of in-house or contracted service providers to fulfill approved service requests. Develop and maintain a scheduling framework to identify and address capability deficiencies.
- Creating and continuously updating a comprehensive plan for service and utility provision to support the requirements of the Company and its various sectors.
- Implementing a control system to track the demand and expenses associated with all utility services within the Company and its distinct sectors. Management reports will be generated accordingly.
- Overseeing the budget allocation for all utility services. Recognizing potential discrepancies and determining necessary corrective measures.
- Formulating contingency strategies for each utility to guarantee uninterrupted service in case of supply disruptions.
- Collaborating with Project Teams and relevant internal divisions to assess utility provision and identify enhancements aimed at reducing costs and minimizing environmental impact.
Required Qualifications
- Formal education in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field.
- Understanding of procurement processes and the ability to prepare purchase order documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in a maintenance role within an engineering or industrial environment.
- Experience in contributing to the development of a Planned Preventative Maintenance system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
