About the Role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Civil Engineer to join our growing civils team at the Structural Engineering Alliance Group. As a key member of our team, you will be involved in the design and construction of highways and infrastructure projects, working alongside colleagues to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Use the latest design software to create and manage designs, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with key clients to discuss design and technical solutions, working collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Project Management: Ensure projects are appropriately resourced, delegating work to team members, programming deliverables, and monitoring progress to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with a demonstrable record of involvement in the design of highways and infrastructure projects.
  • Design Tools: Understanding of the use of design tools within a BIM environment, including industry design standards such as DMRB, Manual for Streets, and NJUG SSG.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to offer solutions to challenges, working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Communication: Confident, articulate, and collaborative, with excellent spoken and written English.
  • Travel: Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the UK to visit sites and other JMS offices.
  • Eligibility: Eligibility to live and work in the UK, with the ability to demonstrate proof when requested.
