Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Kier Group. As a key member of our transportation infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering highway improvement and maintenance schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct investigations and site visits to identify improvement opportunities and develop solutions.
  • Prepare technical designs, drawings, and documents for infrastructure operations, including project management plans.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and produce health and safety files.
  • Produce technical reports and proposals to support project delivery.
Requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge of highways design and maintenance techniques, including the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges.
  • Experience in delivering complex projects in highways engineering, highways design, or similar technical disciplines.
  • Knowledge of traffic management regulations, guidance, and requirements.
