Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Recovery Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and engaging with service users, ensuring they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide unwavering support to service users from initial contact through to treatment and recovery.
  • Implement tailored interventions to reduce harm caused by substance abuse, including group sessions and one-on-one engagement.
  • Develop comprehensive recovery-focused plans, including pre-detox preparation and post-care support.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and the community to enhance recovery resources for service users.
  • Advocate for service user involvement and access to partnership services.
  • Facilitate social reintegration, promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
  • Work closely with partner agencies to achieve best outcomes for clients, including GP's and pharmacists.
  • Offer community-based clinics for clients.

About You

  • Possess knowledge and experience in delivering interventions for substance users.
  • Excel in verbal and written communication, with proficient IT skills.
  • Demonstrate proactive qualities, working independently with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Hold a strong understanding of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
  • Thrive as a supportive team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse professionals and stakeholders.
  • Exhibit ability to navigate change effectively, prioritising service user needs.
  • Recognise the significance of information governance processes and commit to adhering to necessary safeguards.
  • Pursue continuous learning opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills, contributing to colleague growth and development.
  • Have business insurance if driving and a willingness to travel between hubs across West Sussex.
