Automotive Logistics Coordinator

Willis Global Ltd is seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to join their team in the Gatwick area. As a key member of the International Operations Centre, you will be responsible for managing time-critical demands from airline customers, working closely with the Operations Specialist Team Leader and team to ensure operational performance meets contracted targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage time-critical demands from airline customers, ensuring timely and efficient logistical movement of AOG shipments.
- Work closely with the Operations Specialist Team Leader and team to ensure operational performance meets contracted targets.
- Communicate effectively with airline customers, providing detailed and confident feedback on logistical movements.
- Ensure all aspects of Materials, Procurement, and Inventory Management are efficiently processed within predetermined parameters.
- Act as a focal point for airline/customer requests, ensuring demands are raised in a timely manner and shipments are arranged in accordance with contractual service levels.
- Highlight potential shortfalls and work towards solutions with suppliers and airline/customers.
- Proactively engage with Programme and Operations managers to ensure implementation of contractual requirements and guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Identify potential problems and risks, evaluate implications, and develop contingency/recovery plans and actions.
- Ensure accurate statistical analysis of component float levels to highlight surplus or shortfall and rectify accordingly.
- Set reorder levels, minimum order quantities, and other efficiency measures to prevent overstocking and stockouts at warehouses.
Requirements:
- Proven time-critical supply chain or logistics operations experience in a high-pressure environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt to in-house IT systems.
