Our primary clientele includes turbine manufacturers, wind farm developers, owners and operators, as well as investors.

Within the Renewables sector, our Wind Projects team consists of 40 engineers who manage every aspect of a wind farm's lifecycle, from project development to operational management and decommissioning, including energy production analysis and technical assurance for financial transactions. The Project Operations team focuses on a variety of consultancy services related to the operational phase of wind farms for both onshore and offshore owners and operators. The scope of services may include, but is not limited to: Operations and Maintenance, Installation, Decommissioning, Inspection, Repowering, Life Extension, Upgrades, Cybersecurity, and SCADA.

Our primary market is the UK & Ireland, with key operational hubs. However, we also collaborate with global colleagues, sharing expertise to deliver critical projects for our clients worldwide.

Opportunity Summary:

We are seeking a Team Manager to lead the newly established Project Operations team within the Wind Projects division. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the market and be capable of actively engaging with clients and business development initiatives to bolster both sales and team performance. The successful individual will play a pivotal role in implementing an effective on-the-job training and upskilling strategy to meet market demands while providing opportunities for team members to enhance and broaden their skill sets.

Reporting directly to the Head of Section, the Team Manager's primary responsibility will be to provide leadership to the team, ensuring alignment with market needs. This will involve coaching, developing, retaining, and recruiting talent, while ensuring an outstanding employee experience. The Team Manager will strive to maintain high levels of motivation and engagement among staff, optimizing team utilization to achieve operational targets and objectives. This will be accomplished by ensuring the team possesses the necessary capabilities and fosters a high-performing collaborative culture. The Team Manager will ensure that business development and project execution are adequately resourced with qualified individuals, completed within established timelines and budgets, and meet the required quality standards to satisfy client expectations.

Team Managers are expected to contribute to commercial activities as technical experts in their field, with management and administrative tasks occupying up to 35% of their time, while the remainder is divided between commercial work and business development activities, tailored to the needs of their team.
