Role Overview:

As a Youth Support Specialist, you will collaborate with a team to manage a portfolio of properties and tenancies, delivering an intensive housing management service to a core group of individuals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct support to tenants in managing their tenancies.
  • Assisting with housing benefit applications and connecting them to relevant support services.
  • Conducting initial and ongoing assessments of service users to evaluate their needs and risks.
  • Working alongside the Housing Management Team to ensure proper tenancy agreements are issued and that service users understand their obligations.
  • Coordinating the procurement of furniture and goods for properties.
  • Collaborating with the Asset Management team to maintain property standards and ensure timely reporting of repairs.
  • Maximizing rent collection and adhering to the arrears management policy.
