About the Role...

The Future Games Show is a premier gaming showcase that captivates millions of gamers globally. This dynamic broadcast is known for highlighting the most thrilling and unique new games, ranging from indie projects to major AA titles. It is streamed live three times a year across multiple platforms, including Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter, as well as Future's extensive network of brands such as GamesRadar+ and PC Gamer.

Your Responsibilities...

As a Script Writer, reporting to the Content Director, you will collaborate with our editorial team to craft engaging list features and news articles while contributing to the development of innovative show formats. Your role will extend to enhancing our social media presence, which includes brainstorming creative ideas, providing constructive feedback on video edits, and generating compelling written content for platforms like TikTok, X / Twitter, and YouTube.

You will also partner with video editors and freelancers to oversee the entire content creation process. Your contributions will be essential in working alongside Producers and various stakeholders to deliver captivating content throughout the year.

  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current and upcoming console and PC games, with a keen insight into player interests
  • A robust network of contacts within the gaming industry
  • Experience in producing video content for platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and leading social media channels
  • Familiarity with online and live events in the gaming sector
  • Published credits or by-lines in gaming-related content
