Salary: £29,403 - £31,350 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Careers Guidance Professional to join our team at Norwich City College. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students to help them achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one guidance and support to students to help them make informed career decisions
  • Develop and deliver employability workshops and talks to students
  • Assist with UCAS applications, including personal statement writing and interview preparation
  • Work with the Advice and Guidance team to provide information, advice, and guidance to students
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless student experience

Requirements:

  • Level 6 qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience of working in a careers guidance or education setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the local labour market and employability skills required for various roles
