Aerospace Material Coordinator

Ontic, a leading provider in the aerospace sector specializing in 'Extended Life Solutions' for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, is seeking a Material Coordinator to enhance our team.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will facilitate efficient material management to align with Ontic's operational plans and timelines. Collaborating closely with Supply Chain, Programs, and Production teams, you will ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining high-quality standards.
You will take a proactive approach to address any material shortages through the supply chain, overseeing goods receipt and inventory management, and conducting root cause analysis and resolution as needed. Additionally, you will assess and manage material needs for bulk issuance, including end-of-life strategies, while monitoring and recommending optimal stock levels and safety stock usage.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess experience in a manufacturing setting, particularly in a Planning/Material role, and be adept at utilizing ERP/MRP systems. Familiarity with Forecasting, Production Planning, and Scheduling is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, along with the ability to work independently and influence customer requirements within the broader organization. Experience in the Aerospace industry is preferred.
