Ontic, a leading provider of Extended Life Solutions for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products in the aerospace industry, has an opportunity for a Material Planner to support its continued success and ambitious growth plans.

Job Responsibilities

As a Material Planner, you will support effective material management to meet business plans and schedules for Ontic. You will work closely with Supply Chain, Programmes, and Production to ensure products are delivered on time and to the required quality.

You will be proactive in working any shortages through the supply chain, goods inward, and stores, performing root cause investigation and resolution where necessary. You will identify and manage material requirements of bulk issue, including end-of-life management, and monitor and suggest stock levels and use of safety stock where necessary.

Requirements

You will have experience of working in a manufacturing environment in a Planning/Material role and be comfortable using ERP/MRP systems, with experience of using Forecasting, Production Planning, and Scheduling. You will be comfortable communicating with both internal and external stakeholders and able to work autonomously, using influencing skills to drive customer demands within the wider business. Experience of working within an Aerospace environment would be desirable.
